National Safety Council of Singapore would like to extend an invitation to your organization to join us as a corporate member of NSCS. The fee for corporate membership is $1,000 for 3 years . Details are given in the attached application form. Be associated with NSCS and let your clients, customers and employees know that your organization is supporting NSCS’s cause in all matters safety.

The NSCS was formed in 1965 to promote safety in all fields of human activity in Singapore. The first Patron of the NSCS was Mr. Goh Keng Swee, Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore. As you know accidents and ill-health cause much suffering and bring about immeasurable hardship to the victims and members of their family. We at NSCS believe that every effort should be put in to prevent such unplanned and unfortunate events and to promote a good safety culture in our community. In the last 53 years NSCS has been actively engaged in conducting conferences, seminars and workshops and involved in numerous activities to promote occupational safety and health. Our efforts have helped to increase awareness on the importance of safety in our daily life and contributed to the enhancement of safety standards in Singapore.

NSCS will work in close collaboration with professional bodies, statutory boards and government departments and do our part to provide inputs in all matters concerning the safety, health and well being of Singaporeans. We will also organise activities and programmes such as seminars, workshops,talks to schools, and participate in safety conferences and exhibitions to highlight the importance of safety. In this regard, we will continue to work closely with strategic partners which include Occupational Safety and Health Division (OSHD), Ministry of Manpower, Traffic Police.

We know that you share our belief that efforts to prevent accidents and diseases are worthwhile and meaningful. We therefore look forward to a favourable reply from you.
